Internet day 2018: Adler-Nissen in panel at Danish IGF

On 1 October 2018, the Danish IGF (Internet Governance Forum) celebrates Internet Day 2018 with a seminar shedding light on the internet of today from a technical, legal, and business perspective.

As part of the program, Professor Adler-Nissen will be in a panel on “Fake news and misinformation – who has what responsibility?” together with journalist Pierre Collignon and Head of public Policy for Facebook in Benelux and the Nordics, Martin Ruby. Among other issues, the panel will discuss whether regulation of the online debate on social media platforms is compatible with the foundations of democracy, including freedom of speech and press and pluralism.
